On December 16 at 18:00 the ZERO LINE gallery opens an exhibition "THE VIDEO ART. OVERCOMING UNAUTHENTICITY".
In the late sixties 20 century the art format, new, most progressive for that time, has loudly declared itself, – "videoart". Then artists considered that they have opened the most democratic art which will allow to unite people, using the language which has become habitual for all – the TV language and cinema. Organizers of display see the purpose attempt as it is possible to designate more accurately borders and features of the directions in media art, using for expression of the art concept of a possibility of video equipment, the computer and television image. Leaning on masterpieces of a world videoart, the ZERO LINE gallery, organically enters some sign works of artists of Central Asia, including, for the first time shown in 2005 in Tashkent at the exhibition of the modern art of Konstellyation which has become, in fact, a starting point for this art direction in Uzbekistan.

To help the viewer to cope with similar difficulties ZERO LINE will organize the current display, at the same time without doing loud expert opinions concerning classification of a videoart and critical evaluation of the submitted works.
